Ways to Add Chia Seeds

Chia seeds come from the desert plant Salvia hispanica and are from the mint family. At 10 grams of fiber per 2 tbsp, chia seeds are considered an excellent source of fiber. Fiber slows down the absorption of sugar during digestion and helps you stay full longer. 


Some ways to add chia seeds in your meals:


➡️ Add chia seeds to your smoothie

➡️ Mix them into your yogurt

➡️ Stir them into your hot or cold cereal

➡️ Mix with water or milk to make chia pudding

➡️ Add them into baked goods in place of eggs
